Roads that clean the air?
Welcome back!

While doing a little web surfing on Sunday I came across some information that I find very cool. Apparently, the Dutch have invented (or are trying to invent, I’m not sure how far along they are in the process) stones with the capability of cleaning the very air we breath!
This works by using a special type of concrete with the unique ability to convert nitrogen oxide from car exhaust into a nitrate, that would then be washed away by rainfall.
The current plan is to construct a road with one side of normal stones, and the other half with the new, environmental-helper stones. If the results prove to be positive, further studies will be conducted.
