Doing Some Modern Day Coupon Clipping

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I bet a lot of you overlook the savings that can still come out of clipping coupons. I mean, it seems so old fashioned, right? But hey, fifty cents off is still fifty cents off. I know a lot of the newer generation wasn’t really brought up with learning about coupons, but they still are a great way to save money and the savings really do add up.

I spent yesterday clipping a bunch of coupons from the Sunday flyers and papers, and was happy to know that I’ll save at least a few dollars during my next grocery tip. The secret with clipping coupons is to only take the ones that are for items that you would normally buy (or comparable items), so that you aren’t actually spending more money buying unneeded items just to use a coupon.

Also, I recommend that before going to a store that you check their website first, as sometimes they feature coupons there that aren’t found anywhere else.

Great And Free Summer Concert Series!

June 6th, 2009 | Posted in Frugal entertainment

If you’re planning to take a vacation this summer, I suggest considering a Jersey Shore beach Vacation where you can enjoy a break from the heat in the ocean or in one of the many New Jersey water parks around. Also, what’s really cool is there’s going to be a Radio Disney Summer Concert Series happening in Wildwood at Morey’s Piers. The series of concerts are set to be fantastic, and for those of you trying to be frugal like me, you’ll be happy to know that they are absolutely free! With that in mind, I can highly recommend Morey’s Piers for any family’s summer getaway, and suggest visiting their website when looking for a great variety of Wildwood New Jersey motels.

Marketing For Your Small Business

June 5th, 2009 | Posted in Business

It doesn’t matter if a business is a large corporation or a small mom and pop type shop, to be successful all businesses need to advertise in order to bring in the most amount of customers and reach their full potential. Unfortunately, many small business owners don’t have much (if any) of a marketing background and are really not sure how to go about many marketing practices. I think that for these businesses it’s very important to spend sometime reading about marketing techniques in order to make the most of their advertising budget. Of course, more effective advertising means a better overall return on investment.

The internet is a great source of marketing information, and I would especially recommend checking out a blog called Business Printers, which is located at businessprinters.org. The blog features a large amount of well-written insightful posts on a variety of marketing related topics, such as how to go about designing a business card, how to market a website, low cost marketing tips and more. It’s truly one of the better marketing related blogs I have come across, so I strongly recommend that all small business owners  (as well as other individuals who are interesting in marketing) go and check out it.
