Happy Thanksgiving My Fellow Canucks!
Welcome back!

I have to say that this weekend I enjoyed a very wonderful as well as frugal Thanksgiving with my family. The meal was prepared with the help of three generations, and we made everything from scratch! By the time we were done, we had baked homemade buns and breads, pumpkin pie, stuffing, fresh garden veggies and of course the turkey (which was free range and provided by our neighbor)! It was a truly wonderful time and as we went around the table and talked about what we each are thankful for, I truly felt lucky. Even with the tough economic times that many of the folks I know are going through, including my own friends and family, we were all able to take some time out to reflect on the things that are truly important and make us blessed.
With that said, I simply want to extend a warm “Happy Thanksgiving!” to my fellow Canadians, and of course, any American readers who are no doubt starting to prepare for their own Thanksgiving next month!
