Dare To Cut Your Own Hair
Welcome back!

To me, this is the ultimate in thrift. If you have never cut your own hair before , you’re bound to be nervous and a little afraid of butchering your locks. But really, cutting hair isn’t rocket science and can be done at home.
This isn’t to say you have to do it alone. You certainly will benefit from having someone assist you, especially with the harder to reach back portions.
One idea is to invest in a Wahl cutting system. After a few haircuts for the family it’s paid for itself, and the website has many instructional videos for different styles.
Of course, you can always go with regular sheers. I caution against trying to do some sort of adventurous Farrah Faucet type do, but simple styles are not difficult. Section by section, brush your hair directly out from your scalp and trim the desired amount. Repeat until finished.
