Cookin’ and Freezin’ All Weekend Long
Welcome back!

I am prepared for a hard-working weekend. The cast is assembled: big Ziploc baggies, small Ziploc baggies, Tupperware, a colorful assortment of labels, and a clean kitchen - all ready and begging to be used. This is their weekend. Their time to shine. It’s the weekend where I cook a whole lotta meals, and then, promptly, freeze them. It’s supposed to be a monthly occurrence (that makes me laugh, because it’s far from it), and is a favorite from my money-saving bag of tricks.
I recommend you all to try. There’s nothing better than getting home from a long day at work, and knowing a home cooked, delicious meal is as easy as placing it in the oven. The main reason I do this, apart from the convenience factor, is how frugal it turns out to be. These meals really come to the rescue during those times when I’m so tired and lazy that I feel like ordering in a pizza or chinese food - saving me a ton in unneeded expenses.
I’m going to be making lasagnas, meatloaves, chicken parmesan, and even some cookies… yum!

Good idea! I may just have to join you on this one next weekend.
@mammasown - I highly encourage it.
My freezer is filled with wholesome, home-made meals.
