Selling On Ebay
Welcome back!
I needed to make a little extra money this month, as there are some bills piling up around here and a bunch of fun things my family wants to do on the horizon. This isn’t a situation I find myself in too often (thankfully) and I was more than willing to pull up my sleeves and look for some temporary work around town. The job market here isn’t as bad as in many places, and it’s easy to find temp work at least, so that was my plan. However, my husband suggested that instead of going out to work that I sell a few unneeded items on eBay as he has a game-system and a few other electronic gadgets that are just collecting dust.
So, I went ahead and listed the items as seven day auction,s and was happy to pocket the money that we needed. I think a lot of people have forgotten about eBay, but there are still tons of interested buyers there, and it’s a good place to make a quick buck if you have unused items around the house. Of course, it’s much easier if you have higher priced electronic items like I did, as selling a few things is a lot easier than selling a few dozen items!
CashCrate Cheque Has Arrived!
It feels a little silly to be posting so much about a fifteen dollar cheque, but with so many stories of bad experiences with survey companies floating around, I really wanted to share my results with you all.
I will say, while CashCrate is a reputable company, and I’m glad to have my (small) cheque from them, it’s a lot of work for fifteen dollars. I’m in Canada, and can’t complete many of the offers, so I had to rely on surveys to make money with CC. And while the surveys are not difficult, they can be quite time consuming. Twenty minutes and sometimes more for eighty cents when I do qualify, and a lot of the time five or more minutes just to find out that I don’t qualify. If you’re looking into online surveys your efforts would be better spent at a part-time job, because even minimum wage is a lot more than the survey companies pay.
Just my thoughts, if you’re still interested in trying them out, please use my affiliate banner below:
Haven’t Received My CashCrate cheque yet
If you’re not aware of who CashCrate is, they’re an online survey company that has many positive reviews. However, CashCrate says that they sent out my cheque on the 14th, and I still haven’t received it, today now being the 23rd. It’s coming to Canada, however I don’t usually have any delays in receiving US cheques. I will give them another work-week before contacting their reps, but my worry is starting to grow (a wee bit, it’s not a lot of money).
