#7 Frugal Tip Of The Day
Welcome back!

This is one of the easiest ways for people to cut back: if you’re in the habit of buying your coffee out, stop. Instead, I advise, make your coffee at home and bring it with you in a thermos, or, better yet, try to cut back on the caffeine overall, and improve your health as well as your finances.
Going to a place like Starbucks several times a week, or for the especially hard-core coffee drinker, everyday, will really add up. You might not think about it at the time, but if you spend five dollars on a latte (which is ridiculous, by the way) everyday, that’s $150 dollars a month. If you instead added that money to your RRSP contributions, or put it toward making extra payments on your mortgage, it could pay off a lot more than a cup of joe ever will!

Yeah, that’s why I never buy coffee.
There is no more Starbucks here. just closed a month ago…. So I just make my own coffee!!!!! You’ve got good tips!!
@Shan - Good for you.
@JoyD - That’s probably a good thing, except for anyone who lost jobs. Sometimes I think about how much healthier North America would be if they shut down/banned all fast food restaurants - not that it would ever happen.
Every time I see or hear the word Starbucks, I can’t help but think about that movie The Bucket List and Nicholson’s character only drinking expensive cat-crap coffee.
