What’s your money personality?
Welcome back!
Tightwad??? Yeah, well, I guess it’s true! I am Frugal Fergie, after all. Frankly, I don’t even mind being considered a tightwad, it sure beats the stress and gray-hairs of debt! Embracing my inner cheap-skate is one of the best things I’ve ever done!
Your Money Personality is Tightwad |
![]() You don’t spend money unless you absolutely have to. And when you do spend, you try to go for the cheapest option possible. You’re not a penny pincher because you’re poor. In fact, you may have the most cash of anyone you know. You’re a true saver. You feel safest when you can watch your bank account grow. While more people should follow your lead, make sure you’re not depriving yourself. Spend enough money to take care of yourself in the short term, so you’ll be healthy and happy for the long term. |

Off to the woods!

I have been suffering from a little bit of depression over the last day or two, and if there’s one way I know to solve that it’s… Prozac! Just kidding, the answer for me is exercise, and being in the great outdoors, so today the boyfriend and I are going to hit the trails! I feel happier just thinking about it. I really wonder if those on antidepressants couldn’t be better served with some sweat, but I’m no doctor, so I’ll just focus on Fergie, and get my butt in motion.
A big bottle of water, and off I go! I encourage you all to make sure you get your daily dose of heart-pumping exercise today, it really does work wonders.
My new favorite website is The Pioneer Woman Cooks!
I came across her website a few times while using stumble upon and absolutely loved it. So much that now, often times when I am struggling with what to make for dinner I’ll pull up The Pioneer Woman Cooks in search of ideas, as there are many and they are just my style. Pioneer woman uses a lot of really basic items to make tremendously delicious home style dishes. Also, using great photos and spicy commentary, she actually makes a cooking blog fun to read.
Because cooking at home is frugal and necessary in today’s economy, I am always looking for new recipes to whip up. Tonight I am going to try my hand at the Farfalle with Zucchini, which should make for a light and not too time-consuming dinner - all with things I have on hand already.
Oh, and her site has a A Pico de Gallo recipe that I didn’t mess up!!! Yum, yum, yum. Maybe I shouldn’t write posts when I’m hungry!
