#16 Frugal Tip Of The Day
Welcome back!

Today’s frugal tip of the day is: Bring a homemade lunch to work. Brown-bagging it is an easy way to avoid the temptation of pricey meals out when you’re starving at lunch time. An added bonus is that homemade lunches aren’t full of the fat, preservatives and sodium that you’ll find at many chain restaurants. Even if you’re just heading to the local sandwich shop, those meals out really add up fast.
Make “brown-bagging it” an obtainable habit by ensuring to bring an adequate amount of food to keep yourself satisfied throughout the day - and not looking for something to munch on. Also, remind yourself of the added time you’ll have to relax during a break (enjoy a cup of tea, perhaps?) instead of racing back and forth to grab a bite.
Oh, and I highly suggest that lunches are prepared at night, so that they’re ready to grab and go in the morning. It’s easy to run out of time in the early AM, and miss out on that home-made lunch!
