#11 Frugal Tip Of The Day
Welcome back!
Today’s frugal tip is: Teach yourself to shop for necessity, rather than fun. Basically, as much as possible, stay out of the mall, and shops in general. Going to these places, even just to window shop, can often mean buying things that we didn’t set out to, which can really blow the budget.
The times when you do go shopping, make a list and stick to it - one trick I use to complete errands as quickly as possible, leaving no time to stray toward impulse-type purchases.
If I do make a mistake, and allow myself to purchase something irresponsibly - I force myself to return it. The hassle that can sometimes be involved, makes me a more careful shopper in the future.

Great tip. I had to visit Wal-Mart today with my daughter for an extra part for her Halloween costume. I made a list of a couple of things to get, like milk and bread, but that was it. I was very proud of myself lol Wal-Mart is my weakness.
@Jennifer - Good for you! Walmart certainly can be a hard place to get out of unscathed, so to speak.
